4/3/2024 6:20:02 PM 15 years ago my neighbor (George Menifee) and myself (Stephen Ridley) called the city in complaint about the questioned property grass being too high making it a considerable nuisance for my neighbor and I. The grass in the past had been maintained by the city keeping it at reasonable length ridding it from snakes, possums, rats and so forth. At this time the said property grass was almost 5 feet high. We both called 311 on different occasions to which they both gave us the same response in detail. They explained to us that the city would no longer be responsible for said property and that my neighbor and myself would be held responsible for said property. To which we have done. So now we are trying execute the documentation proving so. We're expecting a fair response since we know the city cannot prove that they have maintained the property in said 15 years. Maintaining the grass and trees has been a costly expenditure for this period of time. We also have receipts proving so. Thank you for your time and we look forward to hearing back from you soon. 4/4/2024 1:20:23 PM Per our phone conversation today, I am rejecting the submitted request on the JRC portal due to the request not being part of our department’s, being that your intent is not to purchase the street R.O.W. (right of way) rights and the street cannot be non-accepted due to the active sanitary sewer utility.
